Right after watching ADAM , I'm truly fascinated by the movie's OST including a number of pleasing collections , especially the scores of Chris Lennertz.
Without these fabulous music always precicely reflected the feeling of the moments and evoking the empathy with the protagonist, the movie couldn't be so beautiful and touching.
They all sound kind of sad ,while never make you tear-stained,
just like a old scar ,you don't feel hurt anymore,
but it always remides you of the hurt.
I've been playing them whole week , hard to get tired , and
also found out some remarkably great bands and musicians from the OST.
(1)The Alexandria Quartet
“They tell stories that are perfectly suited for the dark toilet venues of the UK with tonnes of smoke and a good ol’fashioned rock out." said theregoesthefear.
My very first listen to "Into The Light" was instantly reminiscent me of Muse and L'arc en ciel, particularly the way how the vocal sings ,the rhythm in tune and the density of sounds.
They're a indie band originated from Norway, who ,then, have been a opening band of Travis as well while traveling all around Europe to support their debut.
Though the band didn't get much credits and attention they deserved,
I think theydid several fairly good works, such as Somewhere and Into the light.
(2)Joshua Radin
His songs are tender and mainly acoustic , a bit like Elliott Smith's , only sweeter.
You might hear them before because Joshua's songs have been featured on several television dramas and films such as The Last Kiss and ,of course, Adam.
I like "When You Find Me" , "Someone Else's Life" and highly recommend "I'd Rather Be With You" .
cause it's lovely.
He is hitting the road around the UK again for a long weekend in mid October.
Maybe 義達 you can go to his live performance.
It is said that his live make everyone feel like he’s playing for just them.
(3)Chris Lennertz
Seldom do I listen to sheet music ,but all the works he made for ADAM is really a stunning draw to me.
It's hard to describe the feeling of his songs ,but if you have watched the film, you'll get profound vibration just I did.
When I play the songs, I think about the scene that Adam sat on the chair eating meal alone.
They are simple ,soft , sometimes solitary but genuinely heartwarming and give you conforts all along ,
same as Adam himself.
I love all his songs ,
for they sound like a innocent heart .
